A healthy snack? Only in moderation. This is another easily prepared treat that is really popular in the ketogenic lifestyle community which loves low carbohydrate and sugar-free foods. You can find many variations online.. Of course, I like to keep it simple and the required items are in bold print. Preheat your oven to 375 degrees. Cover a baking pan with parchment paper. Place cubes of cheddar cheese about 3 inches apart on the sheet of parchment and top each with a small piece of fresh cut jalapeno. Once the oven reaches 375 just bake for about 5 to 10 minutes. Watch and wait for the cheese to turn a golden brown around the edges then remove. Ovens are different so the time to bake may vary. Let them cool for about 5 minutes and you should have nicely cooled snack of crunchy cheese chips.
